Carlena Johnson
President
Carlena Johnson created BBB during the pandemic so there was a networking platform that focused on supporting women during such tough times. She has been a business professional for 10 years, owning and managing four companies. Her proudest accomplishment is helping women start and grow their companies through various types of businesses development services. To strengthen economic growth and empower women, Carlena is constantly working to build the BBB networking community with the hope that women learn to lean on each other for support. Carlena founded BBB in 2021.
Anitra Chery
Vice President
Anitra Chery is an emerging R&B singer whose unique style blends elements of Jazz, Neo-Soul, and Hip-Hop, creating a sound that is entirely her own. Drawing inspiration from a variety of musical influences, her artistry is not easily duplicated, setting her apart in the music scene. Beyond her musical pursuits, Anitra is also the Director of Operations and Owner of Extended Grace Home and Healthcare Services, where she channels her leadership and passion for helping others into making a difference in the lives of those in need.
Catrina Whitlock
Treasurer
Catrina Whitlock, a seasoned manager with over 20 years of experience in the service field, deeply admires the ladies' work at BBB. She is inspired by their commitment to the community and their continuous efforts to be their best selves. Recognizing the significance of a strong support system, Catrina has eagerly joined BBB to contribute to their noble cause and to support these talented young women.
Ebony Carter
Fundraising
Ebony Carter is the VP of Minority Business Services and Director of the Minority Business Assistance Center. She has worked with small businesses and start-up companies for the past 6 years assisting with funding opportunities, strategic financial planning, and company structural planning. As Director of the MBAC, she is appointed by the state to carry out the mission to impact the economic growth of women, minority, and veterans in the NWO Ohio region. As she navigated the hurdles as a Financial Analyst, she quickly understood the importance of being intentional in purpose, on purpose, with purpose to create change. This ignited her mission to become a trusted resource who helps inform and equip small businesses with the necessary tools and skills to create generational wealth.
Ebony attended the University of Toledo where she earned her BA in Finance and joined the illustrious Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. She is a proud resident of Toledo, OH and continuously inspired by the multitude of talented and creative individuals who call this city home. Ebony is excited to contribute to the economic impact and normalizing the presence of women and minorities in elevated spaces, while bridging the gap to equitable opportunities for underestimated groups.

Aralana D. Pinson-Alexander
Event Planning
Aralana's journey as an educator, entrepreneur, and advocate embodies empowerment and resilience. Starting with HYPE, LLC, a tutoring service she transformed into a youth empowerment beacon, Aralana's dedication to education and mental health shines. Her efforts have turned H.Y.P.E. into an OMHAS certified Behavioral Health Agency with CARF accreditation. Aralana's leadership extends to APA International, Corp., where she continues to innovate in mental health and education, and H2O (Helping You Pursue Excellence 2.0, Inc.), a community-focused organization offering holistic development services. Her work in property investment through Living In Royalty Properties further showcases her commitment to economic advancement.
